Save the date… September 19, 2026 (UPDATED)

The weekend of September 19, 2026 we are planning on having a DC-3 gathering at the museum.
An official invitation is going out early next week to all DC-3 operators. To insure we don’t miss someone, we hope they’ll share with other DC-3 operators. This list of aircraft confirmations are growing. On the invite, the list of plans and activities will be further defined, for crews and extended families.
GENERAL PUBLIC is sure encouraged to participate, but that will be limited to operations at the Mt Pleasant Regional Airport (KOSA) on Saturday. All functions at the grass strip are for the DC-3 crews and families. Several of the airplanes will be coming to the big airport on Saturday to coincide with normal museum operations. Several of the operators will also be selling rides. It will be a great time.
Any aircraft operating at the grass strip will be limited to DC-3’s and any others will need PRIOR PERMISSION.
